Progress Report

Purpose

The Progress Report presents a column graph displaying the change that has occurred in children’s development from at least two points in time (e.g., an initial observation period to a subsequent observation period). The progress is displayed by the number and percentage of children at each of the three capability levels (beginning, intermediate, and advanced) for two to three date ranges.

How Can I Use This?

Use this report to compare the development of the children by achievement levels at the beginning of the year versus the level at the end of the year. The Progress Report also displays the average DL (Development Level) per period or date range.  This results in a clear measure of progress by providing a score for interpreting achievement based on DL gain amount and the likelihood of meeting program expectations.
