Purpose

The Observations by Goal page allows you to document one goal for one or more children.

Developmental assessment is the process of discovering what children can do and how they do it. You set an initial (baseline) assessment and then record subsequent (ongoing) observations. A baseline observation using the Pathfinder/Amount Learned tool should first be done on the Observations by Child page. Ongoing (subsequent) observations can be recorded by individual child, by goal, or by class. (Refer to the Enter Observation for Returning Child page if necessary.)
