Once an activity is published, it my previewed, and if necessary, printed. You may search for the activity by narrowing the search by keyword, developmental area, knowledge area, and/or goal. You have access to the ATI-provided activities and any activities created by an Agency-, Center-, or Class-level user that gave you permission to their activity library.
1. Click Curriculum>Activities>Activity Build and Select.
2. If you are an Agency- or a Center-level user with access to more than one center, select your Center.
3. Use the down arrow on the Class drop-down menu to select the class.
4. Use the down arrow on the Library drop-down menu to select the activity library.
5. Galileo activities are located in the following libraries:
i. Galileo G3 Activity Library. These are classroom activities. There are two age range classroom activity libraries available:
A. G3 Activity Library: 18-36 months CLASSROOM
B. G3 Activity Library: 3-5 years CLASSROOM
b. Times for Learning G3 Library. These are activities that can be done in a home environment. They require little or no materials. They are great activities for parents to be involved in their child’s learning. These activities are accessible through Galileo Online and the Pre-K Parent Center.
A. Times for Learning G3 PARENT ACTIVITIES (English version of at-home activities)
B. Times for Learnng G3: Momentos para aprender (Spanish version of at-home activities)
c. Storyteller G3 Activity Library. These are special Language and Literacy activities for 3-5 year olds housed in this library.
6. Once you select a library all the activities in that library will appear.
7. (optional) To access only activities from a specific scale, use the drop-down menu to select a Developmental Area. The activity list will be limited to show only the activities from the selected scale.
8. (optional) To access only activities from a specific knowledge area, use the drop-down menu to select a Knowledge Area. The activity list will be limited to only the activities from the selected knowledge area and if applicable the developmental area.
9. (optional) To access only activities from a specific goal, use the drop-down menu to select a Goal. The activity list will be limited to only the activities from the selected goal and if applicable the selected scale and knowledge area.
10. (optional) A keyword search may be performed.
a. In the Search For field, type in some keys word you would like to search on. These can be goals, materials, activity type, etc.
b. Click the Search button.
11. All the activities meeting the selecting criteria displays.
12. Activities may include resources that may be downloaded by the teacher.
a. To access the resources place your mouse over the paper clip icon in the Resources column.
b. A box of resource(s) will popup. Click the resource paper clip you would like to view and/or print.
13. To print the activity, click the printer icon.
