Purpose

The Pre-K Parent Center is a secured area in Galileo where parents can log in and access up-to-date information about their child's learning and classroom experiences.

Access

1.         Access the ATI home page, www.ati-online.com.

2.         Click the Pre-K Parent Center link under the Sign In drop-down menu. Refer to the Parent Center Login page for directions.

3.         The parent lands on the Welcome page.

Teacher Information

4.    You can view your child’s teacher name, phone number, and send an e-mail to the teacher.

Child's Notes and Class Notes

5.         A teacher may publish child notes and/or class notes.

6.         Click either the:

a.  Class Notes link.

b.  Child Notes link

7.         Click the desired note's link to view the note online.

8.         Click the desired note's printer icon to generate a printed version of the note.

Child's Progress

Parents have access to information about their child's progress at any time they wish.

Development Profile

The Individual Development Profile report shows what your child has learned at preschool and what your child’s capabilities your child is ready to learn.

9.         Click the Development Profile link from the Overview tab.

10.    Enter the Observation Date.

11.    Select the Readiness [Level] Filters. For example, if you only want to see what your child has learned, click in the checkbox next to “Learned.”  Click in boxes with checks to remove them.

12.    Determine if you would like to Include a parent signature line.

13.    Select the scale for which you wish to generate a report.

14.    Click the Run Report button.

Observation Record

The Individual Observation Record is a blank form on which parents can record the learning they observe.

15.    Click the Observation Record link in the Overview tab.

16.    Select the scale(s) for which you wish to generate an observation record.

17.    Click the Run Report button.

View At-Home Activities

Parents may access home activities.

18.    Click the At-Home Activities link from the Overview tab.  

19.    Select the Activity Library.

a.  Times for Learning G3. These are activities that can be done in a home environment. They require little or no materials.

b.  Mementos para aprender (Times for Learning). These are the Spanish-translated Times for Learning G3 activities.

20.    If you are interested in only activities for a certain developmental area, choose one.

21.    If you are interested in only activities for a certain knowledge area within a developmental area, choose a knowledge area.

22.    A list of activities displays.

23.    Click the activity name link to view the activity.

View Computer-Based Activities

Parents may access computer-based activities.

24.    Click the Computer-Based Activities link from the Overview tab.  

25.    Select the Scale.

26.    If you are interested in only activities for a certain knowledge area within a developmental area, choose a knowledge area.

27.    A list of activities displays.

28.    Click the activity name link to view the activity.

29.    Click either the:

a.  Start Child Menu button.

b.  Start Storyteller button.

View A Teacher's Lesson Plan

A teacher may publish their lesson plans for viewing by parents.

30.    Click the Lesson Plans link in the Overview tab.

31.    Select the library of your child’s teacher.

32.    Select the lesson plan.

33.    Click the Show Lesson Plan button.

Exit Parent Center

34.    Use the Log Out link.
