Delete a Staff Member

TIP:  This is available only to Galileo Plus (Merlin) users.

Purpose

Although users have the ability to delete a staff member, you rarely would use this feature.  This is because once a staff member is deleted from the system that staff member and all of his or her related information will be permanently deleted from the database.  The only instance in which you might delete a staff member is if the staff member was inadvertently entered into the system twice.  In all other cases in which you want to delete a staff member, you will want to follow the instructions for dropping a staff member. 

You may only delete staff members who are no longer assigned to a center.  This means you would first need to un-assign a staff member from a center, and then delete him or her.  

Access

1.         Click Merlin>Staff>Demographics.

2.         Click the Delete staff member  link.

3.         Click the staff member(s) you wish to delete in the Staff Members box. The selected individuals will be highlighted.

4.         Click the Delete Staff Members button.
