TIP: This is available only to Galileo Plus (Merlin) users.
Although users have the ability to delete a volunteer, you rarely would use this feature. This is because once a volunteer is deleted from the system that volunteer and all of his or her related information will be permanently deleted from the database. The only instance in which you might delete a volunteer is if the volunteer was inadvertently entered into the system twice. In all other cases in which you want to delete a volunteer, you will want to follow the instructions for dropping a volunteer.
You may only delete volunteer who are no longer assigned to a center. This means you would first need to un-assign a volunteer from a center, and then delete him or her.
1. Click Merlin>Volunteer>Demographics.
2. Click the Delete volunteers link.
3. Click the volunteer(s) you wish to delete in the Volunteer box. The selected individuals will be highlighted.
4. Click the Delete Volunteers button.
