TIP: This is available only to Galileo Plus (Merlin) users.
Other than the staff demographic information included when the staff is added to your center, you may want to house additional information for that staff member. Galileo Plus provides the ability to include additional information about a staff member on any ATI ready-to-use forms as well as any agency-created forms. By entering data into the appropriate form during the initial data entry and throughout the program year allows you to eliminate double data-entry and may fulfill multiple reporting requirements. When completing a form other form fields can be “automatically populated,” such as in the case of Merlin forms populating fields in the PIR form. Any Galileo Plus level user may fill out a form.
Galileo also provides you with Form Builder, which gives an agency the capability to create additional data fields to record additional children information such as primary language, disability, etc. Information can populated into a form through the import process, manually enter information for one child at a time, or manually enter information for multiple students either a single common response for all students or individual answers for one item for all children (called the Group Data Entry).
1. Click Merlin>Staff>Demographics.
2. If necessary, use the drop-down Staff field to select the individual whom you like to record information.
3. Use the drop-down menu to select the Form you wish to fill out.
4. Enter the requested information.
5. Click the Save button.
6. If you wish to completely clear a form of data, click the Clear Form link to the right of the Form drop-down menu.
To retrieve information about the staff member, access the Staff Demographics page. Once you’ve selected a staff and the appropriate form (the General Staff Info form houses the information entered when the staff member is added to Galileo Plus) the window will refresh to give you that staff's information.
